I cannot envision a world in which Teen Heat is not top five, if not number one. The atmosphere Kimbra creates - the tension inherent in the track - is superlative. Like, let me just give this Boots album all sevens and go back to Teen Heat.

I especially love how Teen Heat just leads perfectly into the rest of the album. The whole first half of the Golden Echo from Teen Heat to Madhouse, maybe minus Goldmine for me, just comes together so nicely; it's so consistently excellent that it's deceptive.

To me almost all the Boots songs started off with promising ideas and just didn't go anywhere.

Aaliyah is near perfect but Crying For No Reason is still the pinnacle of that album for me. It kind of dwarfs everything else.
