This really isn't something you can afford to take chances with. There are also more than 400,000 without power, so yeah.
The storm's path is also wobbling in general. In fact it's even curved back to the east.
This track paralleling the curve of the SE coast is so fascinating. It's almost like this storm wants to avoid land as much as possible, having only passed over thin parts of Haiti/Cuba, and now this.

He's literally curving towards more sea water, avoiding land (by this I mean most of Florida) only obtaining more warm sea water to fuel himself..he's still a category 2 hurricane, 110 MPH.. and now roughly 1k+ people dead.
