"YDKWTD" is an instant classic and an obvious single. It's perfect for summer and would fit in really well on all the formats her biggest radio hits topped. Sure, it has a lot of pop appeal, but I also think it sounds like an Urban hit. "Beautiful" was definitely more poppy.

Mariah has not received an Urban hit since Obsessed. Although You Don't Know What To Do is an instant classic, has an universal appeal and can get played at multi-formats, Thirsty is definitely much more instant for Urban than it is. Thirsty is might just what Urban needs from Mariah to start playing more material from her again.
I think the label is going to do dual singles. YDKWTD for Pop/Hot AC/Urban AC and Thirsty for Urban. After Thirsty peaks at Urban, I strongly believe that YDKWTD will crossover.
