um, that is basically exactly what Neon Lights achieved. The OP said "I can see it being top 20/15 on pop, possibly top 30 on BBH100 & 1-1.5M US sales.", and NL went top 5 on pop, peaked just south of the top 30 on BBH100, and by the end of its run will definitely have more than 1 million in sales in the US.
I have no idea why people are trying to act like NL was a flop or are pretending that they ever thought it'd be anything other than flop.
Anyway, I can see RDC being bigger than NL, because it was already the best selling non single from the album, the timing of the release(summer) is perfect for the vibe of the song, and her team for once seems to be doing a good job of promoting the single. I think RDC will peak around the same spot as NL on pop, but it'll peak higher on the Hot 100(top 25 maybe), because it well sell better(between 1.5 and 2 million).
