Are y'all serious? Lmao. 'Adore You' literally just became a single and it charted at #22 so far. I don't think it's a "flop" exactly. It hasn't gotten promotion minus a video.
The problem is 'Wrecking Ball' definitely is still making it's rounds lol. It's still getting radio plays, still charting on Billboard and people are still watching the video. IDK if you've seen VEVO's tweets but it's still the most watched video for the day.
I think every popular german tv station has informed about THE NEW SHOCKING MILEY VIDEO.. But now the hype has slown down a bit so adore you can be a moderate hit but it won't be bigger than WB at all....Not even close...
