I think he is making himself less influential with this campaign against gaga. A site of his size should be bigger than a personal vendetta. The way he took me out of context the other day makes me question the integrity of everything on his site. If he doesn't represent my tweets honestly, what else is he not honest about?
His numbers have generally been trending down. And when he was signing acts it was pretty clear he didn't have enough clout to break them with his platform. Tho the music wasnt great either.
That said, he still has a meaningful readership, particularly with 20-something women. So he can't be ignored by the biz.
Short answer: yes. Still some influence.
