I still cannot believe NBC just cut the tribute to "those who aren't with us anymore" (i.e., including the victims of the 7/7 terrorist attack), and hence Emeli Sandé's performance, from their broadcast to show a Michael Phelps interview...
I loved the opening ceremony . I'm sure most of the world had no clue what half of the presentation was about but for us Brits it all made perfect sense

Just finished catching up on the opening ceremony, so much better than Beijing I know Beijing was spectacular and was on a huge scale, but idk, this one had humour & more heart. Well I guess I would say that being British, but I just loved it, the whole social commentary and everything was genius
