I was agreeing. It's obvious Victoria doesn't need another confidence drainer by losing to the RG champ of 2012 so she pulled out to gain some confidence and be in tip top shape. I'd die if she draws Venus Williams in the first round and loses

She's obviously bitching out. I love Azarenka so let me not do too much on her but I feel sorry for her ass. She reason she's number 1 is because Kvitova faltered being so close/Serena was out with injuries. That's also the reason why she won the Australian Open, because the good players like Clijsters and Serena were injured. She's getting whipped by so called has-beens and it's sad really

Baroli isn't a good matchup for her for some reason. She also lost to her during the WTA championships. BTW that tournament Kvitova was on fire. If she plays like that, she's the only player that could rival Serena at Roland Garros

Before Miami, Azarenka was 8-2 against Bartoli and one of those losses was a retirement. Azarenka is an aggressive counterpuncher like Zvonareva. Bartoli's a great matchup for her!

And yeah Kvitova owns indoors and grass. Not seeing her going the distance at the French though. Wouldn't even be surprised if she, like Venus, starts just using it as a warmup for Wimbledon.

True true. I forgot about their head to head. But whatever happened to Zvonareva?

Kvitova is an all around player tbh. I see her doing well on any surface, although clay is by far her weakest. She is gonna own all of the indoor stops and even Wimbledon (if Serena pulls out or something)

You guys like Kvitova? I hope she loses her confidence and drops out of the top30 tbh. Her game, based on the few matches I've seen, is just hard hitting, and often in a hit or miss style. Also, she doesn't move well and she just doesn't seem interesting etc... And this comes from a Lindsay Davenport fan...

I'm wondering why everyone is counting Li out. Although he worst surface by far is Clay, she won her first clay court tournament at the biggest one of them all, Roland Garros. I definitely see her reaching AT LEAST the Semifinals again
