Making a top 20 appearance this year is the very talented, Taylor Swift. I think this is my third favorite single from her, next to the epic Love Story and You Belong With Me. Though, this is quite a sad song, I am comfortable listening to it while doing countless research papers. Excited to hear her future releases.

The Script failed to make a top 10 appearance this year as the 4th single of their current album with the same title finishes only in 12th spot this year. I have learned to love the music of this Irish band ever since they started. They are one of the few bands I really admire because of their exceptional writing skills. Wishing them more success this 2012.

"Disaster" Days: 99 Peak: 1(13)
Just one spot away from being a part of the top 10 songs of 2011 is JoJo’s comeback single Disaster. I am impressed with this new material. It is the kind of sound I really want to hear again from her since Too Little Too Late is my favorite song fromthis talented lady. Hopefully, this song will eventually have the success it truly deserves. I can’t also wait for the release of her new album.
