it's not even about the recount. this is political move done to further divide people and give liberals more ammunition during the bargaining phase (step 3 I believe) of acceptance to delegitimize the election and attempt to stall before December 19 and put more doubts and pressure on the electors that haven't yet turned.
They flip one and you think the Trump camp wouldn't immediately go to blue states where studies have come out about dead people voting, illegal immigrants voting and people that were caught trying to vote more than once for Clinton.
It would be a civil war and they are not going to allow that.
