Love Me Do is FINALLY out!! Despite the fact that I gave it a 3, it was actually my lowest scored song in the entire rate, as I was pretty generous with my scores. In hindsight, had I know it would get this far, I would have given it a 0.
Both recorded during the Rubber Soul sessions, "We Can Work It Out" was released as a double A-side along with "Day Tripper". The song was the sixth Hot 100 #1 in a row for the band, a record at the time, and Stevie Wonder earned a Grammy nomination for his cover of the song.
What the GP had to say:
"The bridge is just so fantastic, I cannot," says lousaysthings.

One of the films in the Austin Powers franchise (Austin Powers In Goldmember) featured a song by Beyoncé called "Work It Out". It's a reach but still.
Penned by Paul, "Oh! Darling" first appeared on the Abbey Road album before being released as a single in Japan, Portugal, and Central America. A recording was initially attemping during the Let It Be sessions, during which Lennon announced Yoko's divorced had gone through; the improvised version of the song that followed appears on the Anthology 3 CD. Florence + The Machine also have a cute cover of it.
What the GP had to say:
"I love the vibe of this song," says IcarusIsFlying, and Lucas32 says, "The raspy vocals sound amazing." Contrastingly, lousaysthings expressed what appeared to be shock and horror at this apparently being "one of [his] friend's favourite Beatles songs".
