Um...yes? But really, most Obama supporters are supporters for what he says and what they think he can do, not his playlist. McCain is in the same boat, but having a woman as veep rather than a African-American picking an old whitey comes off slightly desperate.
It shall be a rather interesting watch on Palin speak, she seems rather fun. But the entire debate issue might bite her. She, no matter how red she runs and she runs very red (perfect candidate for energy issue sans that minor blip that she's against ANWAR) being pro-life, pro-gun, family gal; is gonna be biting off a lot against well versed and honest to God blowhard Biden. Her acceptance speech in St. Paul should give us some idea what to expect of the lady who could be a heartbeat away from maybe being way the hell over her head.

She reminds me of many women in my extended family or who work in my office. Women like her seem relatively smart, decent, and they have compelling personalities... that is, until you hear them talk about politics or religion. Then it's like, oh no, not another one of those people.
What a boneheaded move by the McCain campaign. Most Hillary supporters were big on women's rights; Palin doesn't support equal pay legislation and is strongly against any kind of reproductive rights. It's offensive for McCain to essentially exploit this woman for political gain, and she is clearly unqualified for the job.
As I think I said before, the women who will like Palin are the same women that are lifetime, unbreakable Republicans who have hated Hillary since the '90s, are scared of Obama, and were going to vote for McCain no matter what.
People who take pride in their ignorance and intolerance will surely enjoy this Republican ticket.

^ This guy is a real anomaly... a blind-sheep Hillary supporter turned blind-sheep McCain supporter, and he won't even be voting in this country! At least it creates a "debate" here; a very unintelligent one, but a debate nonetheless.

Like millions of people?
I guess they are all weirdos.
Please.
Im not from usa? so?
We all know that the future president of usa is a big deal for almost all the entire world.
Don't get personal, because even if im not american, am like at the same distance ur from that guys. So, if he's not ur father, ur bro, or any relative; is very stupid to insult people just for the fact he's not supporting ur candidate.
So please, if ur not gonna say anything in my "little debate" and just try to insult me, then just ignore it.

Millions? No way. It's a few thousand at best. They obviously don't understand the issues, and they stopped listening to Hillary herself a few months ago. That means ZERO of them were ever legitimate Hillary supporters in the first place.
A legitimate Hillary supporter wanted her to win because they agreed with her on the fundamental issues, like improving health care, education, alternative energy, the economy, women's and gay rights, and ending the war in Iraq. To support McCain is to completely change your mind about ALL of these major issues, so quite frankly, it's ********.

It's significant because a strong majority of non-U.S. citizens are against McCain. You're an anomaly because of that, and it's interesting. But that's not why I'm calling you out. I'm calling you out because you never add anything intelligent to this debate. You support McCain but you don't "get it," and just like the other PUMAs out there, you can't back up your opinions based on any legitimate issues.
That means your choice is coming from your gut, not from your brain.

True, but u must know that 80% of that is bull ****. So, if u think, like many others, that Obama is gonna change the world into a better place with bunnies and colors, ur wrong.
I think a loooot of people vote for who they think could be a better leader, a man they can trust.
Issues? They matter, sure, but u can't win an election just doing that . An excellent example, Bush kicking Kerry's ass last elections.
Im not a legitimate Hillary supporter? DAMMED!

I guess we are now full of Cnn's reporters; brilliant minds. My IQ is not high as ur super IQ? Cool, but like i said, if u don't like it, if u think it's meaningful, just ignore.
I mean, haven't u notice that i never post something serious or large as urs in this thread? (Oh, im lying, i posted seriously when some crazy ppl called me racist)
Im rooting for who i like the best, im not well informed? soo?
Chill out.
Can't believed u called "anomaly" for that.
Have u watched The big bang theory? U remind me one of those guys.

I see I've earned an insulting joke for being intellectual! I love it. That just goes to support what I said earlier ("People who take pride in their ignorance and intolerance will surely enjoy this Republican ticket").
But I can agree with you on "chill out." If you don't believe any of the candidates will actually do anything good, so be it. I really don't care what you think; you're just a good example.
What's frightening is that the Americans who are even less informed than you, with even sillier ways of choosing their candidate, might be the ones who decide this election. They're the ones who pushed Bush over the top in 2004.

Do your research people. Some of you are making yourselves look mighty ignorant saying "Obama has no experience", that "Palin has about the same" or "even more".
No matter how you slice it, this woman's record is too thin to be given the second highest position in government, her ideas for change pales in comparison to Obama and her pro-life stances will demolish a lot of what women in this country have fought for in the past. There were a bag of better choices on the table, but the final decision came down to who had the most experience dealing with the menstrual cycle.
Don't get me wrong, The idea of a first female/first black is very exciting and i'm glad to be around for it. But when the honeymoon is over, that stuff won't matter at all.

You know what? I was going to give you a serious reply, and actually humor you, but it's glaringly obvious that you're being a troll in this thread, judging by your posts and by your "seriousness", so I'm not even going to bother.
Instead...

You quit trolling first, troll, and then we'll talk.

So I was listening to Rachael Maddow's political podcast yesterday and they were talking about some rumors that if Palin doesn't do as well as expected (i.e drags McCain's poll ratings down), that she would be replaced in the RNC for "health reasons".
It's mere speculation, but I just thought that would be hilarious if it happened.

I love you guys! Bringin' the sense.
About Palin--she may be a good role model for conservative women who have been brainwashed by the same religious "values," but she is no feminist. She is no strong woman candidate. She is no Hillary Clinton. She is just an utterly unqualified person who was picked solely because she's a woman. That's condensing; that's offensive; that's not progress. McCain is assuming we as Americans are stupid. The question: Will he be right?

Oh, now ur the offended? Wasn't my intention
That was not an insult, he's a kinda funny guy.
Intellectual? sure?
Again, the whole thing about this, is that u said im that i just talked bull ****, and im not well informed.
Don't believe ur a brilliant mind just for watch Cnn.

Sorry, dude, that's the reality.
Forgive the world for not being so smart as u are.
Can't believe u made such a big deal just for
"Can't believe u guys are saying that McCain did a bad move after the video of Biden saying Obama wasn't ready, and he would be honored to go against McCain."
I mean, how ppl can say he did something bad when Obama made a disastrous choice with Palin, he was owned.
This is getting old, pc TC, and don't get personal for stuffs like politics, kinda stupid(I don't like Obama? so, deal with it), the same goes with the other moderator that keeps saying "**** off".
