Ten songs from each semifinal qualify to the finals. So Iceland and Ireland and Denmark and whatever else made it (anyone recall) advanced on Tuesday and join the ten from tonight in the final to make the 26 entries.
And all the countries competing this year vote in the final. Very sad I'll be at work rather than watching this mess with you all!!

I feel bad for them after making that show to find someone to represent the Netherlands and everything.

YES! SWEDEN IS IN THE FINAL!
Norway doesn't need to go to the final now...well, that was just my feeling at that moment since I was so happy for Sweden to get to the final! But of course we need or Tooji to "Stay" + Slay on Saturday
EDIT: (read the text in bold)

I was just too nervous/happy/busy to write it all when I posted it
Just so you understand that I wasn't dragging/shading my own country

Oh, I knew that. But like the 5 main countries or something? Germany, France, Spain, Italy, UK?

There's too many countries competing in Eurovision so every year, they have two semi-finals with 18 countries each competing. 10 make it through from each semi-final. The big 5 + the winner of last year join them in the finale.

Big 5 Germany, France, Spain, Italy, and U.K. countries that financed Eurovision. They are automatically in Final.

The only chance we have is Within Temptation or Anouk. There's no one else who could make it to the final.

That is so unfair, though. I'm sure loads of other countries could easily finance the Eurovision.

Yeah so the only time it will be different is if a country from the big 5 wins. Then there will be 19 countries in one semi-final and 18 in another. They draw this and the start orders randomly.

Big Four/Big Five
Since 2000, the United Kingdom, Germany, France and Spain have automatically qualified for the Eurovision final, regardless of their positions on the scoreboard in previous contests.[37] They earned this special status by being the four biggest financial contributors to the EBU (without which the production of the Eurovision Song Contest would not be possible). Due to their untouchable status, these countries became known as the "Big Four".[76] On 31 December 2010, it was announced on the official participation list published by the EBU that Italy would automatically qualify into the final, thus joining the other qualifiers to become the "Big Five".[77] Germany became the first "Big Four" country to win the contest since the rule was made in 2000, when Lena Meyer-Landrut won the 2010 contest. Since the introduction of semi finals, the host also qualifies, meaning that a maximum possibility of six countries can automatically qualify.
