FINALLY some good music. Private Show had such huge potential but the production is too basic or something. This is great, I love this. Again the production is a bit quiet or boring or something, but I'm still loving it.
Say what you will about these songs, but I am loving the production on the album thus far. It is the most interesting material she has served in years and I think it's what she needs to be doing right now. When tracks from ITZ and Blackout came out, there was such a mixed reception from within the fan base, and we see how that turned out. Personally not getting how these productions sound "cheap", but to each their own. I love MM (it is my 3rd favorite lead single from her since 1998), and am just grateful we are getting engaging material this round, as opposed to a cookie-cutter set of radio fodder, which could have been so easy to do after the flop that was BJ. If you aren't on board then that's fine, but I wish people would stop trying to convince fans of the new music that it is somehow subjectively sub-par. It's as divisive as her most interesting music has ever been.
This is actually good, a real bop but I don't like those songs with drops, sounds like 2011/2012 to me.
But it's a flawless bop and I'm fine with that.
