It's not over till it's over but... I wouldn't exactly be surprised to see it snubbed. This stuff is largely about perception and Anti suffered a great deal in that department. All the other big hitters had flawlessly executed album campaigns that resulted in commercial (and for some, critical) success. Anti already had an ugly cloud hovering above it due to the terrible "strategy" of dragging out its release over a year. All the false starts, random singles and videos that were abandoned eventually, album cover announcement followed by radio silence, the entire AntiDiary fiasco (still gives me nightmares) all add up to an image of confusion, or, at best, lack of organisation. Also, the fact that she appears to have abandoned the album after releasing it doesn't help matters. It's a PR war, and everyone else is playing it better.

Let's not all jump to conclusion and say she won't get any. Work deserves some and I think it will get record of the year nomination.

Well those quotes are from the producer of the actual show. It's not necessarily indicative of how the nominations will go. However...

They are focusing on those three artists so their wins will likely be televised.

They are focusing on those three artists so they will get top billing and promotion from the show.

They are focusing on those three artists so no matter what Rih does that night they will try to direct attention back to their big three.

So yeah... it's not a great thing to read but the things y'all mentioned aren't the main concern imo. It's moreso the PR game of the actual show. They aren't including her in their strategy so the lead-up, actual event, and follow-up stuff will not focus on her unless something outrageous happens (which none of us obviously want)...

My personal guess to why she's in Paris is Valerian. I bet Luc called her up to do some final touches or re-shooting. Just like when she was in NZ for the movie and no one was able to snap a pic.
