This could actually be true. That explains why he waited till the Hands Of Stone releases. He knew that he wouldnt get a budget for promo so the only way to do it was by promoting it during HOS interviews.
It also makes no sense to get Scooter Braun as his new manager and then just do no promo. Scooter is not like that, he had Ariana on every award and talk show. And hes obviously not gonna tour for this album either.
Whatever hes gonna do he needs to do well with his next album, he always talks about how hes a legend and is now giving back but it doesnt show in album sales and hype at all. I think he said in an interview that he doesnt have anything to prove, but he actually does have to prove that he still got it. And lets be honest, hes getting older. Its now or never.
