But dude, when we are speaking of good music, why should we factor mainstream relevancy? And it's not like Kacey is irrelevant in Country music scene! She has a pretty big fanbase among traditional Country, underground Country, classic Country, and Americana scenes. There's more under "Country" than just Pop-Country.

Kacey has the hit singles: "Merry Go Round" and "Follow Your Arrow." She spent most of her time on the road as well. Has the acclaims. She deserves to win.

I wasn't talking about the quality. She's good yet I prefer The Lord or Carrie since they're much bigger and poppier. As far as Kacey is concerned, I can barely feel her presence on music scene and you know what I mean. That's because I'm a pop guy who listen to country music sometimes.
