so technically we'll end up getting the single in the second quarter of 2013 when we were supposed to get it at the end of 2012

I think in terms of material she has come up with great stuff (from what it seems) it's just a matter or planning everything out and finding the best opportunities etc.

She does have some material ready so what they need to do is set a deadline by which a single MUST be chosen. I mean they did it with Unbroken, Skyscraper was recorded pre rehab and a LOT of the songs on the album were recorded after Skyscraper was released.

Even Rihanna recently did this with Unapologetic.

They most likely have chosen a single I think. Demi's friends keep tweeting the same lyrics she tweeted a while back which leads me to believe that might be the single

The **** is a heart fetish If it's a great song with a catchy melody then I'm all for it Plus a nice love song would be a breath of fresh of air with the songs that are popular right now, I think that's what set GYHAB apart as well

But I agree that up-tempo would be best for the radio, but I like Demi's love songs a lot too

Nooo I hope she doesn't do this because with Unbroken it resulted in a inconsistent album with a lead single that didn't fit the album.

Her material pre and post rehab were miles apart, I think she needs to pick a lead single which is what she believes the sound of the album and make the other songs recorded after the single is set follow that sound.

They did a really crap job with the Unbroken tracklist. It was like two totally different albums and I dont mean that as a compliment.

This time it's different though.. She's working with the same producers. It's not like Unbroken where literally every song has different producers and writers

Listening back to this @ddlovato vocal I tracked last week....holy crap! This 2nd song might even be better than the first! What a voice!

And they went in the studio on December 19th again. So we can't really know but seems like it's at least 3 songs now!
