Sara Quin possibly responds to Twitter attack?
Sara Quin from Tegan and Sara suffered quite the vicious Twitter attack this evening, as her duet partner's ex girlfriend posted a serious of insults towards the Canadian singer, calling her a “thirsty ass hoe” and a “meth head” among other things.
There was no response from the band, neither in person nor through their official Twitter account – however, about an hour after Jamila had her meltdown, a Twitter account with the handle @skq was created and fired back at her.

SKQ are Sara Quin's initials (her middle name is Kiersten), but it has not been confirmed if this is actually her account and it is not Twitter verified either. However, she has been known to use her initials to sign posts on Twitter and the band's website in the past. Regardless of the poster's true identity, @skq has managed to gain three thousand followers within an hour of joining Twitter, which is almost twice as much as Jamila Velazquez has.
Meanwhile, the Tegan and Sara fanbase has been going wild on all social networks, not only defending Sara and spamming Jamila's mentions with clapbacks, but also trying to guess who is behind the @skq account. Speculations include pretty much anyone related to the band from Sara herself, Tegan, Sara's girlfriend Stacey Reader to Tegan and Sara's mom Sonia and their guitarist Ted. Some even suggested it was Carlos behind the account.

Then the dramatically walked off stage. Thinking the performance was over, the audience got ready for Rihanna. However, the live band began playing the beat for his song "Try Or Nothing" which garnered huge cheers from the Audience. However, after he began singing and did his part with the same red lighting as his earlier Tonight Show performance he stopped singing as the piano player went off on a solo.
He paused before introducing Sara. She walked onto the stage dressed in a red outfit and sang with Carlos. They began the song far away from each other but as the song went on got closer to each other and eventually began circling each other. At The end they began singing to eachother while Carlos embraced Sara and she got a tad bit emotional. Then she hugged him and they both left the stage together, arm in arm.

Jolin Tsai Reveals EP Album Cover / Release Date
After hearing the news of being Nominated for a Grammy for best dance song with her debut single "Honey Trap". Jolin took to twitter to express her happiness and thankfulness to the fans who help made such a dream only few can accomplish come true! It's also ironic the new comes out during the queen of Mandpop's 34th birthday, making this one memorable Birthday gift indeed. In honor of her fans, Jolin announced and revealed the release date for her EP as well as the cover art for it! Jolin's first official English album will be entitled "A Game Called: Love" and without ruining too much Jolin confirmed that the album will consist of 6 tracks one of which will include a feature of a very special artist! Finally as the last bit of thank you, Jolin announced her album will be out worldwide on September 20th which preorders of the album already up on online!

Jolin Tsai Does Live Ustream With Fans
On Sunday evening Jolin Tsai surprised fans when she annouced she'd be hosting a surprise Ustream event for fans to ask her questions and just get to know Jolin more as a person then a celebrity. The Ustream took place hours before her big birthday bash @ the MGM Grand as she had some free time. The event lasted a good Hour and 10 Minutes as Jolin was in her Las Vegas hotel in bed excited to see the fans as well as wanting to thank them tons for the Grammy nomination! During the Ustream Jolin talked to the fans about her album and the meaning behind it saying " Love to me at times can be seen as a game and each song repersents a different level of that game, a different obsticale or view point of Love and it tackles things from Honey Traps obviously which is Taboo and other subjects such as the LGBT, Women Empowerment and of course Heart break" Jolin also touched on the subjects of how she's an opennly gay supporter and belives everyone desevres to love as well as how she's coping in America and being on "The Experience" Tour with Namie Amuro! Afterwards Jolin took some questions from fans some such as
"Whose your favorite artist right Now?" "Hmmmm I mean it's expected I'd say Namie but really it's Leona Lewis *laughs*"

Jolin Tsai Celebrates Birthday With Fans @ MGM Grand Along With Lindsay Lohan
Last Night, Jolin Tsai threw the party of the century for her 34th Birthday @ The MGM Grand in Las Vegas, not only did A-list starts appear to have a good time and perform but as well as Jolin's fans came to the event as Jolin always inivites her fans to her parties! The event also had a huge turn out for the fact that Lindsay Lohans Album listening party was also taking place but after a meeting between the 2, they decided to bring the 2 together. During Jolin's party, Lindsay would come out to share her latest song with the party guest as well as perform for them! However Lindsay wasn't the only Popstar making the crowd go wild, below are some other performances that took place during this rave of a party!

Passion Pit will be performing their new single Menagerie @ the party. the band played in pitch black and used random bursts of colorful lighting to create a psychedelic effect, compounded by the soft tone of lead singer Michael Angelakos and the high pitched hymns of the female support vocals.
