Huh? She gave the album away for free because of its value/ the value of her brand. The project and its tour were worth a 25mil investment by Samsung

Any smart business person would've agreed to the deal, trust she made more money off the deal than she ever would have traditionally releasing Anti.

That was a guaranteed check in a time where things are changing drastically in music industry.

She won't do it again for the next album but now that she knows how much streaming/ exclusivity is weighted I wouldn't be surprised if a deal is done around that.

Doesn't the WW iTunes position also correlate to there being no WW (successful) single since Work? Like, ANTI isn't dominating pure sales in the US but it certainly isn't that low. I want to say it's still in the top 40 of pure sales. Although now that I say that, I have no idea where it actually is on iTunes at this point

Yeah the album deserves way more promo, especially the way it was shafted in its first week. Hopefully LOTB can help a bit.

I agree! It was a savvy business move, and she came off looking like a saint for gifting those albums.

I really hope the good sis doesn't pay LOTB dust. It deserves the full treatment.
