I'm still floored by what Beyonce did. We all talk about what popstars should do and what career choices they should make but she came out with something 10x more brilliant and meticulously planned than what any of us could have envisioned.
And very risky too.
When a HUGE risk pays off the rewards are always beyond imagination (see Gravity).
It would be easy to say, "well kanye and jay did it", but she took it to a completely different level.
At any rate, in line with what I was saying the other day...
I totally think Beyonce can actually steal the Queen of Pop title from Madonna over the years. Sure, she wasn't "the first", but in 20 years, who will young girls WANT to be? I'm thinking not Madge.
If she sells it will be because she floored everyone with the release and word of mouth
If she doesn't sell it will be because of the way she release and with "no promo"
Although Bey promoted her brand all year though which is exactly why she was able to pull it off. Beyoncé (the brand) can never fail. The girl is so ****ing business savvy. People don't give her enough credit.

She already has. Madonna never had a release that CHALLENGED the entire idea of the industry like Bey just did.
And she's promoting somewhere every day. How embarrassing.
Eh. She will have a few kids and then make another comeback. People will always root for her because she's a nice person. I can't say the same for a certain somebody!
