I've been tracking the movement of the song.

I've noticed whenever she's performing (at night obvi) the song rises dramatically.

Last night, it had 3 green updates one of them is dark green.

Yesterday, she didn't perform. it had very very small increase as suppose to last night.

It's going fall ALOT today I'm sure.

It'll rise again after Coachella.

Radio would have helped A lot tbh.

We stood in line 6 hours before the set, but about 3 hours before the doors opened we left the line to go pee. We found a starbucks, but as we walked in these girls screamed and said Lana was down the block. Everyone booked it haha like rabid fans and there she was! Her security had set up a lil barrier so she could meet everyone and not get mobbed.

Also, if your venue is as messy as the San Fran one, dont bother camping out for front row because chances are you wont get it anyways. They were an unorganized mess. Just come like at least 5 hours before the show to get gaurenteed floor spots.

The crowds at Lana shows aren't very willing to hold their positions on the floor, it's easy to navigate to the front.

Well if its set up like my show, the line for the balcony started 4 hours before the block so the floor area was already barriered off.

But good point on the other part. Bitches were dropping like flies.

Just got unbanned. I love West Coast so much, probably my favourite released Lana song, and I love the Cruel World snippet. This direction is everything I've been hoping, since I loved the strings on Born To Die but on Paradise I found them a little overpowering (I still love Paradise though).

So glad this is achieving success, it shows the haters that Lana doesn't need a cheap remix to be successful, she can put out a moderately experimental record and get within the Top 2 on iTunes. Hoping for a good BB100 debut, and I think number 1 is on lockdown for her in the UK judging by pre-orders and GP reception.

Yeah, I think the initial hype has died down a little, so now we have to wait until the video to come out to get another increase on iTunes. It's not like Interscope's going out of its way to promote it right now, anyway.

That said, I don't know why they're waiting until June 2nd to release the album. I think dropping the album on iTunes May 1st without warning would be a perfect move. It makes good on Lana's word to the fans, it'll get the album out there before the tour, it will capitalize on Lana's (now obvious) hype, & if they sold on sale as "Album Only" for a week or so... MAJOR sales.

And plus Lana won't have to do all the excessive promo she hates.

I don't know, just a thought. But I'm sure they'll just go the nice June 2nd route...

That was really what I thought they were going to do, as we've seen, good sis Dalai can sell albums. Interscope needs to realise this and capitalise on it, using the 'without warning' tactic and get maximum sales out of Ultraviolence.

no, she hasn't really talked about it--the title specifically. she said the album is cruel, twisted, sick, violent, but like i said before she hasn't specifically said why she name dthe album Ultraviolence--what events inspired it, what it means to her, etc.
