I originally quoted myself instead of Rico who I was disagreeing with.
All you do is take the airplay and add the sales, ignoring the millions in the first case and thousands in the second case. The confusion with the 55:40:5 split is that it's not factors used to modify the actual figures, but just a representation of how the points make-up would be for an average song on the Hot 100.
Hence 136m airplay + 145k sales = 281 chart points before adding the small streaming component - the 5%.
Sales are divided by 1000
(so 100,000 downloads sold = 100 chart points)
Impressions are divided by 1,000,000
(so 100 million impressions = 100 chart points)
Streamings are divided by 50,000
(so 500,000 streams = 10 chart points)
