The nickname rules is pretty harsh. It should only be applied to nicknames that derogate an artist or arise them to Godly levels...

What TC and crew had in mind with this rule had to do with nicknames that were created from half of an artist name. Brit Brit, Queen B, King B, Bey, Rhi Rhi, Queen of Pop, and so are deemed acceptable from what I know. It's when ____ney, bey____, Rhi____, etc. are used in posts where warnings are handed out.

I DO think the religions ones are dumb and offensive, and I'm gland they're banned here. But I can't say I agree with the cutesy ones being off limits. But it ain't my site, so I'll shut up and listen.

I understand the reasoning of why they made it a rule years ago. To be frank, it's funny every now and then to see, but after awhile....it gets annoying. To imagine every poster here making such posts in every thread of their favs....JESUS, that would be annoying as f*&%$.

This rule is so silly, it should only be used for degradating nicknames or Godly-like ones. But things like Longevit--- are harmless.
