It wasn't a flop, and the X Factor exposure really helped her, she's more known now than before and gained more fans. I really think she should do another season and perform her next singles there.

In an article he said it wouldn't be fair to not give enough attention to mentoring but still wants to do both shows. It is physically possible because he can fly, they're on different days.

In a press statement when he was going to launch XF in the US he said that he had to leave the UK judging panel because it wouldn't be possible for him to do both shows at the same time & that flying between countries twice a week would be an issue. I doubt anythings changed since then. Also he is definitely not changing the shows mentoring format as its what set it apart from 'idol'
