You must see what people reached Adele with 21. Almost everyone was a potential buyer.
A 30 year old is not much smarter than a 15 years old but he is more experienced and calmer. If he heard the fist time RITD he maybe downloaded it but when he heard SLY and he liked it he bought the album.
A 15 years old downloaded the first single, second and third and decided then to move on or complete the tracks.
Literally every single performance I have seen from her from he last two eras have been off-key.
