THE CALVIN COLLAB OF DEATH
Wottice, you may ask? Well, here's the deal; every artists that has collaborated with Calvin Harris has seen a major downfall in their career, whether in quality, charts or sales performance.
Don't believe me? Let's look at the FACTS:
1. Ne-Yo - massive star pre 2010s, collabed with Calvin, gigantic flop afterwards in every observable way
2. Example - semi-flop, collabed with Calvin, major flop now
3. Florence Welch - recorded Ceremonials, a contemporary classic, collabed with Calvin, later released a tragic album with Ship To Wreck being the only listenable song
4. Tinie Tempah - had traction and few hits especially in Europe, collabed with Calvin, career now practically nonexistent
5. Ellie Goulding - had quality and fame, collabed with Calvin, now a flop lacking quality and sales
6. Hurts - basically became a quintessential duo in synthpop history with only 2 albums, collabed with Calvin, released Surrender (more like Horrenderous)
7. John Newman - had that one hit song no one remembers anymore, collabed with Calvin, now might as well be dead (maybe he actually is lemme check real quick)
8. Big Sean - yikes, collabed with Calvin, YIKES
9. Haim - were kinda getting traction and attention outta nowhere for no reason cause they're absolute trash, collabed with Calvin, obliterated from the face of the earth
You may notice that Rihanna's name is missing, but obviously you can't have an FL studio-tier "DJ" ruin the career of the queen of the ****ing universe, it just doesn't compute.
