I gave out more tens this week than I have the past two weeks (I'm usually pretty stingy when it comes to this) and I liked the category because it made you get out of your own perspective and look into someone else's and find creativity from there. I gave two people perfect sets of 10/10s, both are title tracks from two of my all time favorite artists, who would have probably loved the praise I wrote for them. The rest of my top five are made up of two artists I am a big fan of but not quite fanatical over and another by an artist I am not quite familiar with who has broken tons of records as a vocalist. My two lowest scores.. well.. I don't want to break any hearts but I didn't think they really delved into their artist much or misinterpreted things too much.

I thought the verses of Chandler is very blunt and so is Big Girls Cry, Eye of the Needle etc etc. Like I listened to the album 3 times before writing and apparently it still wasn't enough

I like how you incorporated multiple uses of ‘Frank’ in your song, and neither felt forced, which was excellent. The first verse had some good wordplay, which I liked, and the effortless simplicity of the pre-chorus was great too. The chorus is interesting but it works, the “not so fragile” lyric and the one that follows it are both great. This is probably your most “conventional” song you’ve submitted this far and I think it’s really well constructed. It’s still not your typical v/p/c/v/p/c/b/c but it’s familiar enough and it works well.

I can see Amy singing this. Granted I’m more familiar with BTB than Frank, but I did listen to some songs and I can imagine her voice on a track like this, so nice job.
