Interview with Karmin
Interviewer: Congratulations on the success of your album! You must be very happy with the reception it's got.
Amy: We are! We've been blown away with the support and we're just so happy that our fans are embracing the music
Nick: Agreed and we even got a #1 out of it!
Amy:
Interviewer: Smash The State was a big success, selling over 700k, why do you think it was so well received?
Nick: Because it's great?
Amy:
Nick: Haha, it was suppose to be a summer song but thanks to Music Wars Empire having an awful charting system, it ended up being a fall song, smashing in winter. But, I think it was a very energetic, upbeat take on a sad song.
Amy: I think although it's a "dance" song, you can really relate to the lyrics, everyone has felt lonely one time or another.
Interviewer: Well I had it on repeat! Mentioning states, you went on tour, how was that?
Amy: It was amazing! We loved it so much, seeing all of the fans, hearing their support, it was a pinch me I'm dreaming moment.
Nick: The amount of times I've had to pinch her in bed because of her sno-
Amy: If you mention my snoring again

Interviewer: Ahaha, so what are your plans now?
Nick: We are working on our next album.
Amy: It should be out this year and it's being written and produced solely by us
Nick: Our label have given us the opportunity and support to create a very raw sounding recording.
Interviewer: So it'll be different to "Karminites"?
Amy: Yes.
Nick: We can't say too much just yet, but I can't get Amy to stop talking about it.
