i'm mentally preparing myself for "this album is phenomenal, timeless and great!!!!! grade: D-" reviews...
COS posted the tweet the other day:The colors of @Pink and @CityAndColour's Dallas Green mix pretty well as You + Me. Our review of their debut LP: http://bit.ly/1wJvmJJ , but they give album C+
true. but if we still go by school system grading, 59 and beneath is already a failing grade. and only 11 points away from that doesn't sound good at all.
AM: I'm lucky. I've created a space where I get to work with people I love. A lot of artists in my position go with whoever is gonna get them that No. 1 [hit], and sometimes those people aren't very nice. They aren't a super-nice hang. But with Dallas, we were doing it with ourselves, because we really wanted to. I felt giddy, like I was 8 years old again. My cheeks were sore from smiling.
so what other songs did they sing in Santa Monica? what should we expect them to upload? missing Capsized, You and Me, Break The Cycle, Gently, From A Closet, Second Guess
Unbeliever has been one of the most praised songs though. But knowing Kimmel, they'll perform You and Me in full and then Unbeliever at the end. So Unbeliever will be cut off most likely.
the Kimmel effect started ... I don't expect the boost in sales to be as big as the one after the performance on Ellen but any increase in sales is very welcome.
^^ I agree. I wish they would concentrate on a single and give it a proper video and radio promo. That would really keep the momentum going.
I think You and Me, Capsized, and especially Love Gone Wrong have potential. Even No Ordinary Love would be great for radio.
I have to say that, after 3 days of listening to the album, Break The Cycle is the weakest song. I do love the chorus. It's uplifting and catchy. But the verses are boring to me. And thus I skip it whenever it comes on.
