I'm just happy she's still doing what she wants to do with music. Gaga haters (general statement, not to anyone on here) want to come after her saying "she's over" "she's done" because she's selling 100k this week, is #2 on top digital songs, and a #15 debut? They will find anything she does and turn it into a negative, and even if she sells a lot less next week, it's being made out to be that it has never happened to any another artist before, which is so ridiculous. Of course I'd like a song from my favorite artist to do well overall, but it's not the end of the world. As long as I'm enjoying her music, and she's continuing to do what she does, that's all that matters.

Again, I'll bring up Kelly. She has literally brought up in interviews when her songs go #1 on HAC radio, saying "we're very happy about that". Does that mean it's her main concern? No. Her record label and team cares, of course they do. But it doesn't mean she makes music simply to be #1 on the charts.
You're literally making up things you want to believe. Watch any interview this era, Gaga literally does not stress about it like she used to. She almost wanted to quit music a few years ago bc she wasn't happy, and took time to reevaluate why she fell in love with music in the first place. She's in a different place now.
She is very true to herself. And are you saying that showing skin is trying to get attention? That's messed up logic. Besides, she's literally worn jorts and a crop tops this era, nothing crazy.
It's not "late" for her in the Pop scene. She can make Pop music for however long she wants, and she will. And again....people like Kelly don't have it as a main concern, but they still do promo for their music because they enjoy getting out there and talking about their work that they're proud of, they love performing, and they have a team of people behind them that wants them to promote. I"m sure Gaga's going to promote some eventually, but she's not stressing about it.

In my opinion, she cares and she is stressing about her single underperforming. It will be more obvious in the weeks to come. It's one thing to say my song went number 1 here or there than saying we went number #1 in 60 countries. It's not bad to care but don't be a hypocrite and act all high and mighty just because your song is suddenly free falling world wide when you didn't expect that.

She can be proud of it's accomplishments without making it her top concern She literally said like the day it came out, when it was still #1, that this is the first time in ages she isn't too worried about what it will do on the charts.

You can also be proud of your accomplishments without mentioning it in a public interview. Why does she care for the GP to know where she sits on iTunes or how many countries her song reached #1.
Kind of hypocritical and contradictory.
She says one thing yet shows another.

The only people that bought that horrible song were the fans that forced themselves to like it.

Why did they chart just now? The album was released on September 9 and I have been streaming it nonstop since then I was afraid they missed the chart altogether lol

Are you ****ing dumb?
2012 versus 2016 are very different eras in the scheme of digital music. Of course, 100K is definitely nothing to brag about, but to claim that the market can directly be compared is downright stupid. Delete this post, it disgusts me.

No video, no promo and has sold 100k copies in one week and peaked at #15, so where's flop?
Still debut higher than Make Me...?

? How does this change anything I said.
Early 2012 release versus mid-late 2016 release. Two different markets of digital selling, you cannot compare debut positions on a fair scale.

You mean the one that was prematurely released due to a leak by an artist 20 years into her career, after a huge flop era, mental breakdown, and WHILE she was in Hawaii hunting for Pokemons during its debut week.
