Yt people want to see the blacks cry and beg and hope so much, which is why they can get behind slave movies and pursuit of happiness of w/e, but won't support a movie with straight up black excellence. Beyoncé said she don't need to sing woe is me spirituals. She's celebrating her blackness, rock her Afro, tweak her booty, brag about hot sauce and is unapologetic about it
