So as y'all know I love trying out elf products

I had to stop using the tinted moisturizer because it broke me out super bad now that the heat is out

so I bought their Acne Fighting foundation because the mac one is breaking me out really bad too
and 3 days of using my skin has been getting really clear

IDK if its because I put drops of my prescribed acne clearing lotion on it too

but its kind of an experiment I'm working on
seeing if I can mix my acne lotions with foundations to give it a boost

I put a few drops of oil on my bb cream and it gives this natural glow and also helps blending!! This is what I use.



It's also good for putting at night time after your moisturizer to prevent dryness and wrinkling.

Olay, help me out sistrens it's like 8billion degrees over here and I don't where makeup but I use tinted sunscreen to make me look all sorts of flawless. But lately it's been sliding all over the place and really greasing up. Do you think a primer might be helpful? If so recommend me some cheap effective drugstore primers for oily porous skin. Thanks

I'm having such a problem finding a good foundation!!!

I've tried makeup forever hd and urban decay one & done (what I'm using now). they're not bad but they make my pores look huge and it looks really cakey I also have freckles and it just makes them look faded and it looks very obvious that I'm wearing foundation.

should i switch to a BB cream/tinted moisturizer? idk what to try at this point

Kat Von D's foundation was really good for me, Its full coverage so I thought it would look cakey especially since I have dry skin but it was amazing, Prob my favorite foundation I've tried so far.

also have you tried Benefit Cosmetics The POREfessional primer? It's supposed to make your pores disappear maybe try it before you put on the foundation.

The No.7 primers are good they're around 12 bucks
Wet N Wild is good too and its like 6 bucks I think

STAY AWAY FROM Maybelline's baby one or Elf's

and yes they help

my Nars tinted Moisturizer lasts longer with primer
I use the poreprofessional though I will try with the No.7 and Wet n Wild and tell you if they last

I don't recommend Kat's foundation if you have oily skin
for me it made my pores look wore even with primer

Try the poreprofessional + born this way foundation
go to Sephora and ask for a sample of the BTW foundation

it is AMAZING! Pores don't show at all
it hides my mom's wrinkles very well

Depends, are you trying to cover pimples or brighten your under eye area?
Concealer before foundation/BB cream if you're covering pimples/blemishes, Concealer after BB Cream/Foundation if you're trying to highlight any areas (cheekbones, nose bridge, chin) or brighten your undereye/dark circles.
