I thought he did pay attention? Either way, Tyler has a better voice and image. He was very like-able, and we hardly even saw him on screen.

Loved it.
I also thought Tyler was better than Patrick, but overall everyone did great.

I think the ratings might go down a little since last week's episode wasn't so great, but we'll see.

Oh Blake
I think he made a wrong decision
love that gay guy
I think he can do versatile singing style
no wonder he chose that country boy too bad
and
Cee Lo is a great person
the last hugs at the end of episode almost made me cry "I got you I got you I got you"

Blake Shelton causing controversy
This week Tyler Robinson was sent home when it was VERY apparent that he didn’t deserve it. Not a good idea seeing as this elimination comes right on the heels of Blake Shelton’s anti gay remarks on Twitter.
Last week GLAAD came after Shelton for posting a rewrite of the Shania Twain “Any man of Mine” to his 300k fans. His lyrics?
“Any man that tries, Touching my behind. He’s going be a beaten, bleedin’, heaving kind of guy..”
Last night we watched as Tyler Robinson (Who kicked patrick’s a$% yesterday at the battle) went home, and I had to ask myself – Is Blake just being homophobic?
I wasn’t the only one – fans also spoke out about the latest controversy on The Voice tv show:
Donnie: i don’t think blake could bring himself to vote for the gay guy, shaking my head, he was so much better.
The Realist: And, BTW, the reluctant gay icon, Reba, was just as fearful as Blake and in my opinion, Reba’s kind is even more dangerous than Blake’s. She’ll take your praise and your money in private, but will never, publicly acknowledge her gay fans. Tyler never had a chance.
James: Mark Burnett and his team on The Voice should be ashamed of themselves. How can you call a tv show “The Voice” when it’s quite clear tthat pretty boy Patrick was out sung by the charismatic Tyler this evening. I’m so embarrassed for Blake Shelton, Mark Burnett and The Voice right now.
CaFan: I can not believe that Tyler was not chosen as winner in this round. He clearly had the better voice and the better performance. If it was based on talent he should have won and if was based on Blake’s small minded homophobic beliefs then I am truly disappointed in him as a judge.
Jurlesia: I can’t believe Christina is allowing such a homophobic a$$hat (Blake Shelton) on her program. Anyone who doesn’t believe homophobia is alive and well, look no further than to Shelton’s very own tweets a week earlier. So sad.
Blkmaster: I dont think it had anything to do with Tyler being GAY… But a lot to do with him NOT being a country singer… Some people cant look beyond there own LIKES…. Tyler WON hand down….
I don't know if he's homophobic, but I did find it weird that he didn't choose Tyler (Who was way better)

'The Voice' ratings drop for battle rounds (but still beat 'Glee')
Quote:
NBC’s The Voice was one hour later, one hour shorter and about one rating point lower Tuesday night.
After shifting to 10 p.m. for the start of the “battle rounds,” the singing competition dropped 19 percent from its record-setting first two weeks. The Voice delivered 10.3 million viewers and a 4.6 preliminary rating among adults 18-49.
That’s still enough to beat usual Tuesday night leader Glee, which had 9.1 million viewers and a 3.6 rating — winning 8 p.m.
Overall NBC came in first place, with The Voice growing 77 percent from The Biggest Loser (8.8 million, 2.6). CBS was second with NCIS (17.1 million, 3.5) and NCIS: LA (14.7 million, 2.8) hitting season lows, followed by The Good Wife (11.6 million, 2.0)

I expected a drop, but it still did quite good. No need to panic, celebrate.

I expected the drop, because of the new time it's shown (10 pm is a little late for a casting show). Still, the ratings remain strong and I'm happy that it's such a success.

I hope Tyler breaks out sometime. He was such a snazzy dude.
However, I have to say that I feel his elimination was more to do with him not being country than him being gay.

The time slot affected its ratings for sure, but the weird thing is, on the other two episodes, the ratings actually went up on the second hour (10pm). I think last week some people were disappointed by the lack of talent, and believe it or not, that's a factor as well (that's why the ratings were even bigger on the second week: because the first episode was so fresh and amazing). But I loved this one, and from what I've seen on the web, people quite liked it too. We'll see if it increases next week.

I agree. But that's a shame, because the guy sang really well.

No, I don't think that's the main reason. It went down, because the last two episodes felt really rushed and there are so many things happening in such a short amount of time so the audience can't really follow the show. They should've stayed in the same timeslot with 2-hour episodes. Nevertheless, I think "The Voice" and especially Christina are really exciting to watch and I already can't wait. My favorites are clear too, so I hope one of them will win the season.
