it's like teenage version of whitney versus mariah in the finals.

skylar can be in the finals but i think idol want someone who'll be a mainstream superstar who can achieve worldwide fame just like kelly so it's jessica and hollie they have the mainstream voice and packaging.

she's not into classic r&b she can be marketed into mainstream r&b, what she needs is a makeover and right packaging.

Lol, what are you talking about. Both Haley & Pia got record deals which was the main objective in the first place. Pia's single tanked because it wasn't that good and Haley could have released a CD and acted on the hype she had post-idol last year but she didn't. She chose to go the pretentious route and kept on saying she doesn't want to rush, she wants to take her time (), It's her own fault really.

first, country female artists are dominating the country chart again, flop or not, the first thing is that you have to get good music. Skylar has the personality and she will make her own sound, while Lauren is just a clone of Carrie

second, you will have MUCH MORE EXPOSURE iF you win the show. If you are just a casual audience, you never watch the show before, who you will check out first? of course the winner
If Haley was pimped from the start, her fanbase would be 2 or 3 times bigger than that
Her American idol performances EP didn't sell much while Scotty's EP even reached the top 10 as i remember
