So my Spanish teacher stans for Shakira and today in class we were going over songs in Spanish just to learn the language a bit more and she used "La Pared" and she was talking about how good her lyrics are and claimed that she is smarter than everyone in my classroom
We're an honors class so people were a bit pissed, haha. I asked her what her favorite album is and she said either Fijación Oral, Vol 1 or Pies Descalzos (she's not very fond of her English music, which I understand). I guess while she was learning Spanish in the early 2000s, she met a guy who worked for Telemundo at the time who was from Colombia. He knew Shakira and showed my teacher and her friend pictures from a recent birthday party of hers, lol. She never met Shakira in person though
although some wolves don't like that song
