But I feel that is impossible, with the VMA's being so close, and the fact that they still haven't announced a single. Even if she did perform a new song it would rise quickly, but then free-fall.. since it wont be sent to radio anytime soon.

I agree, but it's also true that even if she performs the 4th single it would free-fall without airplay. And even if they did send the song tomorrow, IWG has almost 100M audience impressions and STILL gaining so it would be totally useless to send the 4th single to radio this early.

they could send the song to radio a week after the VMA's
sure, it would have started falling by then but it'll stablize somewhere.
then when the airplay picks up, they do another performance.
we still need our Ellen performance! they can't forget about it.
i'll be fine if the fourth single charts inside the top twenty
but i'm hoping for another top ten.
