Budget? Possible theory but SNSD winning wasn't anything unusual as they outclassed everyone in the voting section. And it's not like other companies don't have money to do so if there was a money race

Girl calm the hell down, I'm just saying there's a LOT more that goes into it than just likes and shares, otherwise you'd have half of the planet in that room. I AM A GIRLS' GENERATION FAN. But like, look at some of the things that happened in that show - the dude who won against Anamanaguchi for example. His nomination video had more views than his actual submission. You don't think that's suspicious? What about the other big k-pop groups this year; why weren't they even present?
When you like and share something, you are doing promotion, no matter who it is for. You are leading more people to those little embedded advertisements that 9/10 videos have, making the label money, and potentially directing someone to a sale - be it an album or single or product. We're ALL part of it. The YouTube awards just make it seem so...
I don't know, the whole night just didn't feel right.
You feel me? It's not a diss against GG, who I bought 2 of the last 3 albums by in hard copy format. It's not a defense of some other act. It's just general cynicism about the whole thing.
