Furthermore, this is exactly why "BEYONCÉ" worked. The way "BEYONCÉ" was released played perfectly into what today's climate value almost as much as money -- it's "being the first," being in the universe of what's being talked about
in the moment. The Twitter-Tumblr Millennials didn't care whether "BEYONCÉ" was good or not, they wanted --
needed -- to be THE FIRST to listen to it, and THE FIRST to comment about it. But guess what, kids? The only way you're going to be THE FIRST to do any of those things, is to BUY it... off iTunes... within the next 24 hours, because it's not available ANYWHERE else. Hence... 80K in 3 hours. It's very fascinating. I can write another thesis on it.
