Nicki's in California today. Praying she makes it out of there alive. And PTA needs to be performed at the VMA. It's the new single. Trust me when I say that VVV and WI is my two favorite pop songs, but it would be a waste of time.

Do y'all think Pound The Alarm was a mistake?
NO I AM NOT SAYING THE SONG IS FLOPPING - I KNOW IT JUST STARTED
But I'm looking at the iTunes top 20/songs big on radio right now.... and none of them except Titanium are really dance tracks anymore (and Titianium is actually inspirational). You have Whistle, Some Nights, Call Me Maybe, As Long As You Love Me, Lights, then stuff like Maroon 5, Carrie Underwood, Cher Lloyd, etc. I feel like Starships was part of the last big dance craze.
Should Nicki have went with a more traditional pop single like Va Va Voom or even Marilyn Monroe or Beautiful Sinner? Dance seems to be on the way out!
Or will this work in Nicki's favor and Pound The Alarm will stick out?

It was a huge mistake & I hope it flops. I wish she would have used the poll to listen to what we want as a single, but instead she went with PTA cause its her favorite song, & in my opinion, the song is just adding more damage to her image

I think it wasn't the best choice she could make  tbh a lot of these songs could be more successful if she released this album mid-last year (if she could) where dance music was really in and Chris Brown was relevant (RBMS).

It has to!! Isn't it the perfume song?
That's another reason I think Pound The Alarm might have been an iffy choice - she keeps talking about the perfume and the commercial like it is about to drop any second and if the commercial featuring Va Va Voom is out at the same time Pound The Alarm hasn't even peaked, it's gonna be a mess if Va Va Voom is the winter single.
