Because it appears in three different parts of the song?
I'm aware that the other lyrics are repeated; however, as I was implying I don't find those portions to be superfluous.
You can't tell me that US radio is going to eat up BFB as is.
There will have to be a radio edit. Especially since y'know, the first 30 seconds is pretty much, "The Big Fat Bass."

The only repeatable parts in it. Nothing superfluous there. It's a 5 minute long song. Obviously it's gonna be quite repeatable. Most heavy dance songs usually are.

Obviously there would be a radio edit. It's still good in full, but a radio edit isn't a bad thing. Gaga's Alejandro, Bad Romance, and Edge of Glory have all received radio edits.

In addition, we have already got the radio edit:
You must not have been here when I was ranting about that too, lol. If they were planning on making it a single, and would no doubt have to edit it to such a degree. Why would they not just make the original song the radio edit version?
Also, as you can clearly see, I don't stan for Britney; therefore, I don't keep up with everything going on with Britney to the extent you do.
For the record though, I like the radio edit you posted a lot more.

Why do you always got to bring GaGa up in this thread and when it involves me. God damn. That irritates me.
As you and I already discussed, we both agreed that BFB would require a radio edit (and I disagree about it being fine in full). Radio edits aren't a bad thing, sure.
And everyone on this forum knows GaGa has Madonna-Drag-Out-Song syndrome (a la Gaga does her best to drag her songs out a bit unnecessarily for no apparent reason).

Then what are you trying to defend.

I'm not entirely sure what the hell you're on about, lol.
And, what would you prefer me to do? Continue to try arguing with Duca about Big Fat Bass + repetition + radio edits?
Also, had you read all of my posts, I said that the best thing about Big Fat Bass being a single is that it would have a radio edit that I would actually listen to (since it would no doubt cut down on some of the repetition). Then, I said that Britney's best songs don't use and I quote, "superfluous," repetition, indicating that not all repetition is a bad thing just that it can be overdone (which I think is true in the case of Big Fat Bass).
The only edit "Big Fat Bass" would need is the entire 1 minute introduction, and can easily be cut down to less than even 15-20 seconds. Y'all are so dramatic and queeny.
