At least Hello has held of Hallelujah's challenge for now. It's up to just over 0.7, and has only gained 2% each of the last 2 updates. It's still green though.
Okay Hallelujah jumped to 0.7308. It's still dark green, but Hello is now light green instead of white. Still I feel like if Hallelujah was going to jump Adele again, it would've already happened. I hope I'm not wrong here.
ITN has never been the most popular album track on spotify/iTunes. I don't know how it was released, the song doesn't sound like a smash. I hope it doesn't kill the momentum of the album, but it was a bad call.
Dark Times, Prisoner, Acquainted, Real Life, Losers and Tell Your Friends are still more popular than it on Spotify even with all that airplay. In fact, only 'As You Are' and 'Angel' have less streams than In The Night, so it really is one of the most unpopular songs of the record. Oh, and it's generic as hell.
^^True. It's the worst track on the album, never showed potential on both Spotify and iTunes (Real Life, Dark Times and Acquainted are currently getting more streams).
But it's increasing consistently and video and promo need to happen yet, it should be another top10 hit for the King of 2015.
Well, it will go top ten for airplay alone and the video will help. But it's not an album seller, he could be smashing right now with a stronger single.
Hmm I just noticed that only one even-numbered Voice season song ever hit the weekly digital T15, Sawyer's semi-original song Please earlier this year. Compared to 15 odd-numbered Voice season songs.
Likely cuz December's sales are depressed compared to May's. I wonder if the overall market being down will help S10's contestants though...
