This ARTPOP era has been pretty funny as a fanbase though. The amount of things that frustrated us but made us laugh at the same time, like was great, I wasn't on here for a lot of it but from the Skype Ball, to DJWS's weekly trolling, her shutting her twitter down, the Applause leak, the single switch, the video delay, Troy being fired, her filming at Hearst Castle and everyone assuming it was for tour interludes, expecting third single announcement on Jimmy Fallon and getting an ARTPOP performance, and much more since

The ARTPOP era was truly the kii that kept on giving.

Oh, and Darkchild puts all of them to shame even with his small song output of Telephone, Reloaded, and OOC. None of those producers above has come close to touching OOC and I'm fairly convinced none ever will.

Her work with Team Love Child is almost incomparable to her work with RedOne, Fernando, DJWS, etc. It was just a different style of music, although songs like Paparazzi show how versatile Fusari could've been if she had kept working with him. Their stuff makes me mostly nostalgic for the most part, but overall I think she made the right decision leaving him and moving forward with others.

ARTPOP is a great pop album. I really don't fully understand why it underperformed like it did. Was it just all the negative publicity surrounding her at the time? It's low debut numbers and lower Metacritic score made people think it was a bad album and decide not to buy it? Mid-era blackout? It deserved better. It easily could've been a successful era if it was handled better.

The GP will still buy and listen to and like Gaga if her next pop era is well managed with good music. Nothing will ever be "make it or break it" for her. She could easily get another #1 if she plays her cards right.

ARTPOP was the least fun era so far, like by a LONG shot. The album was good but this era really was the absolute pits. The only enjoyable parts were July - September 2013 + album leaking. Everything else was just upsetting. We really fell apart as a fan base. Even though I hate BTW as an album, the era was pretty goddamn fun for the most part and the TFM era was obviously the best experience. I just hope we can start being a fun, optimistic fan base again

I would disagree on the whole; his input would have been valuable going forward in her career. I'd actually prefer her next record be akin to "Let Love Down", "Rockshow", and "Blueberry Kisses" in many regards with some dance-pop additions like "Filthy Pop", "Glitter and Grease", and my namesake song. Such a direction, updated for the modern year, may actually be a viable commercial option for her as well. She's branched out and diversified, yes, but his presence may not have necessarily deterred that evolution in a significant way.

Rob Fusari is best in Paparazzi and their unreleased material. Oh Well is amazing and they should have worked again on Born This Way, he would've done amazingly giving her rock ballads and midtempos. Hopefully in the time between now and the fifth album, she can make a few phone calls and get him back on board, especially if number five is indeed a rock/ballad album.

I'll note that he did contribute to writing on Gypsy, which is pretty much one of the most universally praised tracks on ARTPOP.

The GP will listen to whatever the media say, so if the critics bash ARTPOP, so will the GP
If the press say Gaga's over, the GP is gonna think Gaga is over
If the media says ARTPOP is a huge massive flop (even though it isn't) the GP is going to believe it
This is just the way it is. The GP don't form their own opinions. The media influences them to think the same way they do. So if the media wants to tear you down, that's exactly what's going to happen

The GP isn't actually listening to anyone; whenever I talk about ARTPOP flopping everyone is surprised. The problem is that the media aren't hyping her up like they used to; them bashing her actually does literally nothing.

I agree, I honestly do. If we had it in it's fully, HQ glory I think more people would appreciate it.
