Sara Quin performs at Lindsay Lohan's album release party
Sara Quin attended Lindsay Lohan's album release party tonight, to have some fun but also perform her duet with Carlos Pena. They arrived together and were seen talking to a few other guests before they disappeared backstage to get ready for their performance.

Together with Carlos she took the stage for their single Try or Nothing, playing the song's intro on guitar and then switching over to keyboard to provide the song's beautiful, soothing melody. Her vocals were on point, hitting every note effortlessly while she sounded poignant and vulnerable. Carlos sounded equally great, complimenting Sara's voice with his rich tone also full of emotion. They kept looking at each other during the performance, keeping eye contact and the chemistry between them only added to the great atmosphere during the performance. At the end of the song, they hugged each other as the audience cheered.
At this point, Carlos left the stage but Sara took her guitar again, starting to play the intro of Lindsay Lohan's song Train Wreck. “Lindsay, tonight we're celebrating your album release and I just wanted to tell you that I'm so happy to be here tonight, and I'm really proud of you for everything you've conquered in the last few months and for making such a great return”, she said over the soft music sounding from the guitar strings. “Train Wreck is such a raw, emotional song, it really touched me when I first heard it, and I decided to cover it for you tonight. I hope you like it.” The song took on a completely different vibe being played acoustic and sang by Sara's soft voice, but the audience seemed to enjoy it very much.
For her last song, Sara chose to play one of her own songs from Tegan & Sara, Straight Backward. “This is my first time playing it by myself so I'm a little nervous”, she admitted while tuning her guitar, causing the audience to cheer encouragingly as they knew she was gonna slay the song just like always. And indeed, Sara sounded amazing as she performed the upbeat tune all by herself, now using her vocal range to fill the song with life and energy and it translated to the audience very well as they all started swaying to the melody. When she was done, Sara thanked everyone for listening as well as Lindsay for the invitation, wishing her good luck for the album and also giving a special shout out to Jolin Tsai who was celebrating her birthday.

Later, Sara was seen mingling with the crowd, partying and chatting with Carlos and his friends.
