PA2 is the best tho the part when the kitchen cupboards fly open is ICONIC. It had me and everyone else in the theater SHOOK

I personally really enjoyed Cabin in the Woods. It didn't take itself seriously at all, wonderfully satirizing the genre. It's like ATRL. It takes a true stan to drag your own fave.

Cabin In The Woods was decent. I watched it without knowing anything about it, so I was really confused and shocked towards the end. But I enjoyed it. It wasn't amazing or anything, though.

I enjoyed V/H/S 1 and 2 a bit too much and overrated them in my mind. I liked all of the videos they watched. The first one ****ed me up a lot, especially the hotel scene with the couple. Yikes.

I hate Paranormal Activity. There were moments that I enjoyed out of all of the movies, but overall, they were really stupid.

I recently saw The Den on Netflix (a coworker recommended it), and liked it. It's a really low budget and, at times, bad movie, but the plot is terrifying. The end is just ridiculous, though.

it was disappointing bc I was going in expecting to be scared because it was "one of the best horror films ever" or at least thats what the reviews// trailers said.

Instead what I got was some corny ass laughs out of it, and a parody of all the other horror films, which is NOT what the trailers advertised.

The twist//last twenty minutes was the worst part... it was incredibly stupid yet entertaining

but NOT worth my time// or the title of deeming it a horror film.

Had I watched it alone I probably would have turned it off and watched something else.

A part of me is still hopeful that they'll film/release a Halloween 3 in the near future, but I'm also worried at how much they'll **** the series up even more. I wonder if it'll be like when the original Halloween rebooted and started with a new main character, or if they'll end up just remaking Halloween 4/5/6, or if they'll do something complete different. I just need more Halloween in my life.

Please, no more Tyler Mane as Michael. He's terrible. Michael Myers isn't a 7 foot tall beast.

Ooommmggg when will people stop using the "it was hyped to be the best horror film ever" excuse? People use the same thing to discredit You're Next. News flash, every horror movie ever calls itself the "scariest movie since _____". Anyone who actually believes that will obviously be let down.

It was public knowledge that the movie was a satire. I waited for years for it to finally be released and it surpassed my expectations. It had so many smart references from so many other horror movies, they put a hell of a lot more effort into writing that than most horror movies. I don't know why people have such issues with TCITW and You're Next... comedy and horror can play nice

It was acclaimed by critics and horror fans alike so whatever.

Cabin in the Woods is a secret gem. Most dislike it, but you probably need to see it twice. I know personally it wasn't until the 2nd time I watched it that I full appreciated it.

And I definitely would call it horror, even if satire. The fake wolf part and when **** actually started going down had me on edge.

Yeah, it was terrifying...especially seeing it as a kid. Sometimes the scariest movies are the ones that just involve a murderer, because you know they can happen. Even as a kid, I could still tell that the supernatural was fictitious and make-believe. But anything where there's just a normal person who murders others...sometimes that's the scariest narrative of all.
