Now that we know (lol) that the album is coming, let's discuss what songs we want on it from those we've already heard.
I don't want
Triumphant, for obvious reasons
Bring It On Home is so boring to be
Almost Home, meh
I want #Beautiful included though. Maybe. Probably
The only one that should be included is "#Beautiful," although I looove "Almost Home" (it's in my Top 10 most played tracks of the year) and I actually really love "Triumphant" too
"Bring It On Home" can go away and be even more forgotten (if that's possible).
#Beautiful will definitely be on the album, like last track or something. I mean, it didn't pull a Flopumphant, it was rather successful so there why should its existence be ignored? As dreamloverfantasy said it, it's going to included as a buzz single.
I personally loved Almost Home and if the album had been released this summer, it could have been included but by now everyone has forgotten it comepletely. (And don't you all come at me sayin it'd been forgotten immediately after its release, it is quite a good song. ) But if she's going for the sound of #Beautiful (as she said she is, "back to the roots", once again) it wouldn't suit the album anyway.
I don't need no Bring It On Home, either. It's so repetitive that even I could have written that song
What I want instead is that Darkchild emotional mid-tempo smash, Mimi
I don't see the point of labeling #Beautiful a buzz single seeing how she isn't going to get a bigger hit or a more acclaimed song anytime soon.
I love Almost Home as well!! I'm pretty sure Bring It On Home was written last minute for Obama's campaign.
