I really don't like the idea of her performing 4 times throughout the night. It seems like a ploy by MTV to stop people turning off after her performance.

I just want one big performance. Stop and starting kills the vibe.

Has someone from VMAs gone on record to confirm she is performing 4 times? Last I checked it was just a rumor..

But if true IMO
Pros:
- it already sets her apart from past performances
- She should have better breath control thanks to breaks in between songs

Cons
- drags the performance out. Feel like a full 10-15 min set & speech after would be more impactful

I know a producer said she has creative control for the performance so perhaps that's what she wants to do

Random but not entirely sure what's going on with UMG and streaming but thankfully Rihanna owns her music now... So legally a label can't really say where she can and can't put her music without her agreement.

I think it's more of: VMAs has multiple stages, and she'll utilize them all. Performing 4 times is weird.

I have friends who are there though. So Im getting the scoop. After the Kanye Fashion Show fiasco I should learn now to stay away from these celebrity "castings".
