Ehh. I think it has the potential to be career defining but honestly I think the most important thing it could do for her career is simply remind everyone why she's a musical icon.
&& Depending on which songs she does that can be achieved without a major spectacle.

As long as her vocal arrangements are in order, and she's not going for her "bad gal rockstar" routine, IDC what she performs.
I'll take a solid performance of LOTB/KIB over a questionable Work/BBHMM. One thing i've noticed about Rihanna is she's not the type to pay homage to herself or reference previous work. She reminds of Madonna in the early 90s, she hated the idea of repetition, homage or acknowledging her past successes. But i hope she puts that aside this one show.
Why would you guys want a tour with Kanye?
1. If she goes on a joint tour, it better be stadiums and sadly even with Kanye on-board, stadiums just aren't happening.
2. The two of them have a habits of not being very punctual
3. Those Kanye rants are just a NO.
In lieu of a traditional host, Key and Peele, DJ Khaled, Jay Pharoah, and Nicole Byer will cover Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards, the network announced Wednesday.
If DJ Khaled doesn't introduce her video montage and/or performance I'll throw a fit

Why? He's washed, and old news. The whole "keys" joke are beyond played out. His corny ass can stay away. I'd love to see group of people clearly inspired by Rihanna introducing her. Zendaya, Amandla, Willow, and such introducing her. I'd show her impact in this industry.
A stadium is really weird to be rehearsing in? Surly a set list will leak since stadiums aren't sound-proof?
I'd love her to do a Bajan Carnival theme for the bigger songs and have African style drumming immersed in-between, like her iconic AMA 2010 performance.

You misunderstood what I meant. Out of all three "hosts," I want DJ Khaled to introduce her Vanguard segment.
