Exactly. There is no reason for them to expire. I should be allowed to hoard and save up as many coins as I want now so I can afford to buy all the physical rewards when they add them

As long as the Switch's launch catalog has numerous other good titles, I don't think I'd mind waiting a little longer for Zelda. If the Switch launches with the games in the trailer like the new Mario and Mario Kart, I'd be cool.
We'll probably get Splatoon, Mario Kart and Smash all ported over from the Wii U. That's more than enough for the holdouts. Then they'll add in a new 3D Mario.
It's probably better that we don't get BotW until October. They also need to put out Splatwoon at some point. It's sold 1.5M+ alone in Japan.
