Do you think the fact Miley, Demi and Selena are more likely going to release their single at the same time is necessarly a bad thing?
I thought so, but then I figured it could be a good thing. The media will jump on it and make rivalry or friendship stories, the GP will fight on youtube and twitter over who is the best, people who will hear one single will be curious about the other two...I think the three of them will be very hyped. At least I hope so.
But it's a bad thing for radio concerns.
They will most likely block each other and only one or two will do well tbh.

Why not.. It's better than releasing it in January when she doesn't have the hype of X Factor around her anymore
No it's not?
Everyone is releasing in december, so first of all she will most likely get overshadowed.
Also, barely any radio station is going to play her until mid-January, so the single would most likely peak in sales before in airplay...
And we really shouldn't overestimate X Factor.. Most of the people watching would buy the single anyway, and I mean American Idol is MUCH bigger and didn't have a huge effect either on GYHAB last year.
